Parliament resumes at 9am to debate treaty settlement bills. New Zealand First leader, Winston Peters, defends his party's decision to vote against two of the five settlement bills, ending plans of passing them on Friday without the head count required for party votes. He blames National's chief whip, Tim McIndoe, for allowing too many of his MPs to take Friday off and make an early start on this two-week adjournment. Greens transport spokeswoman, Julie Ann-Genter, asks Transport Minister, Simon Bridges, if it's possible to keep adding lanes on to motorways and gets a definite yeah-nah response.
