Care agency boosting pay to help sector's staffing crisis

The aged care staffing crisis is leading one agency to pay all their carers above the living wage, coming into affect this month.

The aged-care sector has been experiencing a chronic workforce shortage for some time, largely due to Covid-19 border restrictions.

The owner of specialist aged, dementia and palliative care agency, Miranda Smith Homecare is hoping this will entice potential workers.
