The growing influence of Autaia in Haka Theatre

The haka theatre show Autaia featuring hundreds of rangatahi performers is now in its fourth year and previously it was attended by students from Tamaki Makaurau but this week's performance saw the inclusion of kura from Tai Tokerau. Autaia is presented by Hawaiki Tu and its artistic director Kura Te Ua tells Julian Wilcox about the evolution of Autaia.
