Moana Maniapoto:

Moana Maniapoto is a multi award winning singer, songwriter and journalist. While touring with her band she has done concerts in China, Borneo, the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Poland, Hungary and Korea to name just a few. To pay her way through law school she sang on Auckland's club circuit and developed into one of Aotearoa's finest musical acts. She says while attending a service at a black gospel church in Detroit the congregation loved the songs she sang in Te Reo Maori.
