The Broadcasting Minister, Kris Faafoi, has just announced a support package for the media industry.
The $50 million package includes $21 million to cut transmission fees for broadcast media for six months, $16 million to waive media companies' contributions to New Zealand On Air and $11 million in other targeted assistance.
