Multi-purpose cleaners slightly better than water - Consumer NZ

Using water to clean your whare doesn't sound very efficient or hygienic - but some of you might as well already be doing this. Consumer NZ found the majority of multi-purpose cleaners perform only slightly better than water. Out of 29 multi-purpose cleaners it tested, it found 17 of the products were only marginally better than plain water for household cleaning but a lot more expensive.
