The Toilet paper giant Essity has blocked its locked-out workers from making hardship withdrawals from their own retirement savings.
Pulp and Paper Workers Union Kawerau secretary Tane Phillips says staff have now been told they can't access their superannuation savings to cover the losses of three weeks of no income.
