Opponents of a housing development near Māngere have spent the night camping out at the site's entrance in a last-ditch bid to stop the development going ahead on land they say is sacred.
More than 50 police, alongside kaumatua from the local iwi, and Fletcher Building, delivered an eviction notice to the group at the Ihumātao site on Tuesday.
But they say they are not going anywhere.
