The Privacy Commissioner has revealed the police shared whether several jobseekers have Covid-19 with potential employers as part of its vetting process.
This morning John Edwards has released the findings of his investigation into the Ministry of Health's disclosure of Covid-19 patient information to emergency services.
He's found that while the ministry did share information responsibly, but the police did not.
The police now admit in six cases, they misused the information and have apologised.
