Prince Andrew's public image has been shredded by his out-of-court settlement for a sexual assault case against him.
Labour MP for York Central has called on Prince Andrew to give up his title as the Duke of York, amid other calls for clarity regarding his future role in public life.
How he will fund the financial settlement is murky - the sum is being kept secret. The headlines call it Prince Andrew's "final disgrace", "no way back" and a "£10 million humiliation".
The Queen's former press secretary Dickie Arbiter said the settlement is extraordinary - only a few weeks ago he was demanding to be heard by a jury.
Buckingham Palace has offered no comment.
New York-based Royal correspondent Victoria Arbiter spoke to Susie Ferguson.
