Many online shoppers taking extra risks

If you're planning on doing your Christmas shopping online this year, you might want to be careful what you click on.

New cyber safety research shows a quarter of people shopping online in New Zealand take more risks when buying online, losing an average of $500.

The report says common scams are via anonymous sellers and ads.

Cyber security organisation NortonLifeLock managing director Mark Gorrie spoke to Corin Dann.
