After Tairāwhiti took another battering with ex-tropical Cyclone Hale earlier this month, Federated Farmers is calling for a government inquiry into factors that are contributing to the damage.

Federated Farmers board member Toby Williams says storms are becoming more frequent, and says an urgent rethink is needed on how exotic forests are harvested.
