People waiting to find out if their land will be built on again after properties were destroyed in the Auckland Floods or by Cyclone Gabrielle will be in limbo for a little longer.
The government says it'll have the information it needs on high-risk areas from insurers and councils in three weeks - and then it can start deciding whether to rebuild, ditch or something in between.
