One New Zealand, which was until recently Vodafone, has been fined a record $3.675 million for misleading consumers under the Fair Trading Act.
The penalty relates to the company's marketing of its FibreX broadband service, which customers believed to be fibre-to-the-home broadband, when it wasn't.
