A Tai Tokerau kaumātua has praised ACT Party leader David Seymour for doing what few have been able to do, unite all Māori.
Earlier this year, at the hui hosted by the Kiingitanga at Tūrangawaewae, Māori were urged to unite against the Government's plans for the Treaty of Waitangi, and te reo Māori.
And the Waitangi commemorations at the weekend certainly reflected that unity.
