Three Strikes legislation introduced to parliament

The government's law and order week continues at pace, with legislation to restore Three Strikes introduced to the House yesterday. The government says it sends a message that repeat violent or sexual offending will not be tolerated. But the opposition is pointing to the Ministry of Justice's own analysis to say it won't work.
