Many struggling foodbanks fear they could also be forced to turn away families in need, as the high-profile Auckland Buttabean Motivation foodbank run by David Letele prepares to close. Mr Letele says the 87-thousand-dollars in government support he received this year, is still not enough to meet the demand from hundreds of families needing help every week.
