A hui in Wellington of iwi representatives has established unity over water rights; Pita Sharples says the hui was very cordial with those present acknowledging each others efforts for water rights; The Ministry for Primary Industries is trialling a special fund to help fund small to medium scale innovation projects on Maori owned farms; The Corrections Department has abandoned its original plan to increase the number of beds from 16 to 32, in the first rehabilitation and re-integration unit for Maori prisoners.
