Dunedin-born, Melbourne-based songwriter Matt Joe Gow has been on a musical hiatus for the last couple of years, but he's making up for the silence by releasing two albums this year – a collaborative indie-rock one with his band The Dead Leaves, and a solo album of Americana tinged tunes.
He previews a few new songs live in session and talks with Kirsten Johnstone while in NZ. He plays Dunedin on Friday the 10th of April, at Dog With Two Tails.
