In 2016, local composer, singer and guitarist, Paul McLaney set 12 of Shakespeare’s soliloquies to music. The likes of Julia Deans, Laughton Kora, Maisey Rika and Mara TK then helped him perform them at Auckland's Pop-Up Globe.
Play On is now being released as an album, which is out on Friday. Here's an exclusive preview stream:
The show's also going on the road with a different all-star cast at each performance.
