Manjit Singh is on a quest to bring Indian music to the people of Aotearoa. Originally hailing from Punjab in India, Manjit plays tabla - a pair of hand drums fundamental to classical Indian music. He has performed alongside the likes of jazz legends Nathan Haines and Jonathan Crayford, as well as hip-hop star Tom Scott at the NZ Music Awards.
Manjit has also started teaching a new paper at the University of Auckland about the Ragas of India.
