Phil Goff has been sacked from his role as the UK High Commissioner.
Comments made about Donald Trump at Chatham House were enough to give him the boot, according to Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters.
Some commentators have called it an excuse to get rid of him, but others say diplomats simply can't have opinions and that it was deserved.
