New Zealand's population is growing at a rate that threatens to outpace the speed we're building infrastructure.
With census uptake declining, Len Cook says good data has never been more important as we head toward a population storm.
Len is the former Government Statistician for New Zealand (1992-2000) and National Statistician of the United Kingdom and Registrar-General of England and Wales (2000-2005).
Now a companion of the Royal Society Te Apārangi, he is calling on the government to bring in a National Population Policy.
He joins Emile Donovan.
