Schools and Teachers: Influences That Matter is a new survey looking at young people's attitudes to their teachers from the University of Auckland.
To gather the data, researchers analysed responses to questions by around 1,000 13-year-olds from the Growing Up in New Zealand study.
It's all part of Auckland University's ongoing Our Voices Project.
