Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), is a disease linked to repeated head blows.

Awareness of its impact on past and present rugby players is growing, along with dedicated research in the medical world.

Now a new initiative aims to gather more data on the condition, to try to help diagnose the condition.

The Brain Health Service was launched this week by the New Zealand Rugby Players Association, World Rugby and New Zealand Rugby.

Rob Nichol is boss of the NZ Rugby Players Association and joins Emile Donovan.
