Tonight, we're chatting to Dame Hinewehi Mohi (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Tūhoe).
Hinewehi is a renowned musician and producer whose inimitable contributions to the Aotearoa music industry earned her a place in the NZ Music Hall of Fame in 2024.
In 2021, she was appointed Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2021 for her services to Māori, music and television in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
She also co-founded the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, with her husband George, which provides music therapy to both children and adults across Aotearoa.
