Kathryn speaks with Ukrainian journalist, now refugee in Poland Sofia Koczmar-Tymoshenko.

She is one of an estimated two million refugees who have fled the Russian invasion, mostly to Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.

Just today 40,000 people have been evacuated from conflict zones around the country during a 12 hour ceasefire.

Until recently Sofia Koczmar-Tymoshenko was working as a journalist in Kyiv, but  made the decision to flee with her husband and young daughter.

Kathryn also speaks with Jess Letch, manager of disaster and crisis response with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies based in Budapest.
