Aotearoa's premiere string ensemble The Black Quartet delivers a cool, contemporary take on the classical sound.
Jessica Hindin, Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper, Joseph Harrop, and Rachel Wells perform original compositions and some ingenious covers.
The Black Quartet played:
'Deja': "'Deja' is the name of a lovely young woman I met on a park bench at 1am in Byron Bay and had a couple of hours of cool conversation with... I never spoke to her again but she seemed to be able to solve all the world's problems or my problems... It was just a lovely meaningful moment and this was the tune" - Jessica Hindin.
