The European Disability Forum has alerted disabled people world wide to the fact that the EU has backtracked on earlier promises to ratify the disability rights convention. Janina Yosenera is works out of the European Disability Forum's secretariat in Brussels. Janina Yosenera says they're alarmed by the U turn. She says by deciding to wait until all twenty seven member countries ratify the Convention the EU is blocking the rights of disabled people.
