The 'Contemporary Christchurch' exhibition has recently opened at the Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA).
It brings together 13 local artists who've created their works sometime in the past three years.
It was a tough job getting it down to such a small number. The panel of selectors started with a list of hundreds. Jamie Hanton was one of the selectors.
He talks to Lynn Freeman about putting the exhibition together, along with one of the artists he selected, photographer Deagan Wells.
