NZers in Perth detention centre may be hunger striking

An Australian refugee advocate says up to sixty New Zealanders in the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre near Perth may have gone on hunger strike. Ian Rintoul says a group of men at another centre, Melbourne Immigration Transit Accommodation, or MITA, were earlier also refusing food, but have now ended their protest.
