A Maori film and television group says it wants Te Mangai Paho - the Maori Broadcasting Funding Agency - to reconsider ring-fencing three-million dollars for Television New Zealand shows; An Auckland Maori Trust says its new research hub will help the North Island's Whanau Ora Commissioning Agency identify which areas need more attention; Pregnant Maori women who experience domestic violence are more likely to face potential problems when trying to access health care, according to a study by researchers at the University of Auckland; Ngati Kahungunu Iwi is calling on hapu and whanau to bring fresh ideas to hui discussing the best ways to protect their water rights and the environment.
