Paddy started his career on the graveyard shift at the Herald, moving on to become a self-described ‘attack dog’ political reporter. Later he held down the tough job as TV3/Newshub political editor for nearly 15 years, before moving to Stuff where he flips the script and focuses on positive news for a change.
This year, Paddy has also been on air here at RNZ, and we’ve just heard he’ll be hosting ‘Summer Report’ alongside Alexa Cook which kicks off January 13, keeping you company throughout the holiday period.
