Shane Jones unveiled the new Ministry of Forestry today on the back of a promise to plant a billion new trees in the next 10 years. Is he dreaming? RNZ mathematician Jim Mora has estimated that means 1,141 trees an hour will need to be planted every hour, 24/7, for 10 years. The overseas owners of Tui Estate in Canterbury have been trying to sell lots but with no success. The property has come to the attention of the Overseas Investment which is forcing the sale despite it already being up for sale. The owners' spokesman Barry Hopkinson talks about their efforts.The feedback from listeners has come thick and fast about what irritates road users. This afternoon artist Garrick Tremain shares his observations as a driver.
