The iconic Parisian landmark the Notre Dame Cathedral went up in flames over night, collapsing the rood and main spire of the 850-year-old building.
A fire official has said the main structure has been preserved and officials are optimistic the cathedral can be saved. French President Emmanuel Macron pledged to rebuild.
