A third of NZ 8-year-olds bullied - long-term study

From The Panel, 4:34 pm on 10 November 2020

More than a third of eight-year-olds said they were bullied in the last year - with 12 percent saying they were physically bullied every week.

That's according to the largest longitudinal study of child development in the country: 'Now We Are Eight: Life in Middle Childhood'.

Children's Commissioner Judge Andrew Becroft joins The Panel to discuss the harmful effects of bullying.
