Wellington Girls' College has apologised to a student who was sent home for wearing high-waisted pants and a tank top to school on Friday. Seventeen-year-old Lauren Hardie was told at the time her outfit was inappropriate and that it put male teachers in a vulnerable position. The principal now says the school acted hastily, and never should have made the comment about male staff.
