If you're a farming, forestry or fisheries worker, your employer might be planning to give you a bigger pay packet.
According to a survey of 140 agribusinesses, a quarter of them are intending to give their employees a raise in the next year.
Opinions were sought from owners of small and medium primary industry operators for accountancy software company MYOB.
The survey also shows there will be more fulltime rural jobs, with 10 percent aiming to increase their head count.
MYOB senior manager Scott Gardiner said despite the sector preparing for lower revenue due to falling global commodity prices, businesses are planning to invest in staff.
