There's good news for those who love berries on their pavlova during the festive season.
Official figures show strawberry prices fell 33 percent from October to November, which is the biggest drop in four years.
Last month strawberry prices averaged out at just under $4 for a standard 250 gram punnet.
Food prices in general fell a seasonally-adjusted zero point two percent in November.
Tomatoes were 18 percent cheaper than a year ago, when they cost $4.32 a kilogram.
Last year, bad weather affected the supply and pushed up the cost of crops.
Bananas were also in short supply in the past month because of a delayed shipment, causing a 17 percent jump in prices.
