Fuel supplier Z has dropped the price of regular petrol by another two cents a litre.
The fall takes the price of 91 octane to just under $1.92 a litre at most Z petrol stations.
It follows a steep decline in petrol prices in the wake of record low international oil prices.
Earlier this month the price at the pump dropped below $2 a litre for the first time in more than two years.
At the time business commentator Brian Gaynor said the drop in prices in international markets was not being reflected to the same degree at the petrol pump, which should see falls of about 20 cents a litre.
Z says its prices have fallen this year by about 34 cents a litre, equating to a $17 saving on a 50 litre fill-up.
