Fuel prices are continuing to fall, with BP and Z Energy dropping their prices this morning - the sixteenth straight price drop since October.
It now costs $1.879 cents for a litre of 91 at most BP and Z Energy stations.
Diesel has dropped to $1.199 a litre at Z stations, with BP a cent higher.
Gull Petroleum, which operates 45 stations from Whangarei to Masterton, continues to offer the lowest fuel prices.
A litre of 91 costs an average of $1.769, with diesel averaging $1.09 cents a litre.
Z said fuel prices have dropped about 40 cents a litre this year, saving motorists about $20 when filling a 50 litre tank.
It said there had been 16 consecutive retail price falls.
