The gang leader who claims to have banished methamphetamine dealers from the Waikato town of Ngaruawahia is understood to have been arrested.

Tribal Huk leader Jamie Pink has said he lost an eye when he was shot at in his car earlier this week.
Police said a 45-year-old man had been arrested and charged with the unlawful possession of firearms, in relation to recent activities in Ngaruawahia.
They said this followed a forensic examination of his vehicle, adding that they had not received a complaint about his vehicle being shot at.
They declined to name the arrested man, who was due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on Wednesday.
