Air New Zealand is offering refunds to customers who took advantage of a mistake on a website to book cheap flights.
For a short time last week, the flights from the United States to New Zealand were available at just 10 percent of the usual price.
The company hasn't disclosed how many people took advantage of the cheap offer on Tuesday (US time).
But it said it will refund any money and also any legitimate out of pocket expenses.
Some of the customers have posted on social media that they had already booked accommodation to go with the cheap flights.
Others tweeted that they were disappointed that Air NZ cancelled the cheap flights.
@FlyAirNZ how can you just cancel a flight just because I got a good deal on it?? You made a mistake. Honor the tickets! #AirNewZealand @staralliance @united #auckland #seattle pic.twitter.com/4kmnzyiuFY

Wow @FlyAirNZ Absolutely unbelievable that I have a fully paid for and CONFIRMED ticket and you've just cancelled my entire reservation more than 48 hours after I booked.

An Air New Zealand spokesperson said the mistake on the website was a genuine human error in the data entry process.
