A homicide investigation has been launched after a man in his 50s was found dead at a Whanganui property last night.
A second man - also in his 50s - also suffered serious injuries and was transported to Whanganui Hospital.
He was now in a stable condition.
The address has been cordoned off and police and ESR are carrying out a scene examination.
