A woman was killed and a second woman was injured in a quad bike accident near Nelson this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to an address near Eighty Eight Valley Road just after 1pm.
A second woman was airlifted to Nelson Hospital, but was not badly injured.
The Serious Crash Unit and WorkSafe are investigating.
