There have been delays for motorists north of Wellington after a four-car crash, police say.
They said they were alerted to the incident at about 10am the crash on State Highway 1 north of the Johnsonville off-ramp.
No one has been injured but delays are expected, they said.
The Transport Agency said the crash site has now been cleared and queues have eased.
