A man's body has been found after a boat capsized in the Hokianga Harbour in the Far North.
Police said the man was one of three people onboard the boat that got into trouble earlier today.
The two others have been treated by ambulance staff and are in a moderate condition.\
Coastguard spokesperson Luke McCarthy said it was still to be confirmed whether the men were wearing life jackets.
"Communications, life jackets, know the bar and know the conditions if you're crossing it.
"Obviously bars are heightened areas of risks so wearing life jackets at all times when you are crossing them."
