A man accused of murdering his mother in West Auckland can now be named.
Martin Marinovich is before the High Court at Auckland after being charged over the death of his mother in February.
The 27-year-old was arrested shortly after his 59-year-old mother died in the West Auckland suburb of Oratia.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder through his lawyer Shane Tait two weeks later.
At a High Court appearance this morning, Justice Davison confirmed a two-week trial had been set down for February next year.
Mr Marinovich has been remanded in custody until then.
