A homicide investigation has been launched after a man died in Hamilton today.
The police were called to a Slim Street address at around 5.50pm following reports of an assault.
A man was critically injured and later died at the property.
Police say they are trying to find an alleged offender.
A scene examination has commenced at the property.
The police are also looking to speak to witnesses or anyone who has information on the attack.
