The man accused of killing an Auckland couple has denied two charges of murder and one charge of attempted murder.

Elizabeth and Herman Bangera died after being found critically injured in their Epsom home in March.
The 29-year-old defendant, who has interim name suppression, appeared in the High Court in Auckland this morning via video link from a psychiatric hospital, the Mason Clinic.
Justice Fitzgerald, who had previously called for a mental health report, said he was fit to enter pleas.
The trial is set for next April.
